Kings Den Cafe

You can find us over on West Cart Street in Villiyanur. It’s a simple spot, nothing too crazy. We put out about seven or eight tables. Some days it’s quiet and you can hear the birds, but other times the traffic outside is just too much. We make coffee and some snacks. The kitchen isn't very big, so things can take a few minutes if we are busy. We don't use fancy gadgets. Just a stove and a basic espresso machine that sometimes acts up when it’s hot. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. People come here to sit for a bit and get out of the sun. We don't mind if they stay a while. The fans overhead wobbles a little, but it keeps the air moving. We get a mix of people, some locals and some folks just passing through. I usually handle the orders while my cousin helps in the back. We don't have a big menu. Just things we know how to make well. It's not a corporate place with uniforms. I usually just wear a t-shirt. We try to keep the place clean, though the floor gets dirty fast with all the dust from the street. It’s just a local cafe where you can get a hot drink and sit down. Most evenings we just sit outside once the sun goes down and watch the carts go by.
