Our college is located in Trivenipuram, which is part of the Jhusi area in Allahabad. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the main city center, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We focus on special education, mostly training people who want to become teachers for students with different needs. The building is simple and we have a few rooms for lectures and practical work. It’s not a very big operation, but we stay busy with the students who come here from all over the region. The staff here are mostly folks who have a lot of experience in this field and just want to pass on what they know. We spend our days going over teaching methods and how to handle different classroom situations. Sometimes we have visitors or guest speakers who stop by to share their stories. The gardens around the building are okay, though they could probably use a bit more watering during the summer months. People in Jhusi generally know where we are if they need to find us. We don't really do a lot of advertising; most people hear about us through word of mouth. It’s a place for learning and patience. We just try to provide a decent environment for our students to get their training and move on to their careers in schools across India. It’s quiet, steady work that keeps us going year after year.
