Unity Public School

We have been here in Gtb Nagar, Kareli for quite some time now. People in Allahabad know us as Unity Public School. It is just a regular school building where we try to get things done every day. The morning starts early here at 11, Block - A, and usually, there is a lot of noise with the children coming in. We don't have anything too fancy, just classrooms and teachers who show up and do their jobs. Sometimes the weather in Allen Ganj gets really hot, but we keep going. The hallways are always a bit crowded between classes. We have parents dropping off kids on scooters and bikes every morning. It’s a busy spot. We focus on the books and making sure the students stay on track with their lessons. There are always papers to grade and meetings to have about how the week is going. It is a lot of work running a place like this in such a busy part of town. We see the same faces every day and have grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is just a place for learning, nothing more or less than that. We keep the gates open and the lights on until the last student leaves in the afternoon. It gets quiet then, which is a nice change from the morning rush. We are just a group of people trying to keep this place running for the families around here and doing our best to stay organized.
