Brij Bihari Sahai I College

Our college is located at number 13 on Shivkuti Road, right in the Teliyarganj area of Allahabad. It’s a busy neighborhood, and we are right in the middle of all that activity. The building is an older style, with high ceilings and wide corridors that help keep things relatively cool when the summer sun is out. We have been here long enough that people use us as a landmark when giving directions. It’s not a shiny new campus with a lot of glass and steel. It’s more of a traditional place where students come to get through their intermediate years. You’ll find the staff rooms a bit cluttered with papers, books, and old registers, which is how we like it. The stairs have been worn down by years and years of students walking up and down. We don't use much marketing because people around here already know who we are and what we do. During the exam season, the atmosphere gets a bit tense, but otherwise, it’s just the normal hum of lectures and students chatting by the entrance. We have some trees in the courtyard that provide a bit of shade. It’s a practical environment. We don't have many frills, just the classrooms and the basic facilities needed for a college to function. The rickshaws are always lined up outside the gate waiting for students. It feels like a very typical part of life in this city. We just keep our heads down and focus on teaching the students.
