Janta I.College is located in Chaka Naini, which is part of the larger Allahabad area. If you know Naini, you know it’s a bit away from the main city center, across the river. The college has been standing here for quite some time, and the building looks like it has seen many seasons. We have a lot of students who come in from the surrounding villages. The roads around Chaka can get quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or modern glass walls. It’s all concrete and old-fashioned fans that creak when they spin. Our day is mostly filled with the sounds of teachers talking and the occasional tractor passing by outside. We spend time making sure the registers are updated and the benches are in good shape. Allahabad can get very hot in the summer, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. People around here call us the Janta college because it’s for the common folk. There are no big speeches here, just people trying to get through their lessons. We often sit outside under the trees during lunch to get some air. It’s a plain, honest place to work, and we don't try to pretend it’s anything else. The bricks might be chipped, but the classrooms are always full of life. It is just the way we do things here.
