Jamunapar Inter College

Jamunapar Inter College is situated in the Bundawan Amreha Jasra area of Allahabad. Our address is right in the 211001 pin code zone. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which gives us a bit of a different feel. The school is a collection of several buildings that have been put together over the years. We have students coming from all the local villages around Jasra. The mornings start with everyone arriving on foot or on cycles. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't go in for anything flashy. The classrooms are basic and they get the job done. We spend our time going through the textbooks and making sure the students understand what’s being taught. The staff is mostly local, so we know the families and the struggles they face. During the rainy season, the roads around Bundawan can get a bit tricky, but the kids always manage to show up. We have a playground that is mostly just a patch of open land, but it’s where all the sports happen. Life at the inter college is about the routine of bells and lessons. We don't make any big promises, we just show up and do the work. It’s an honest way to earn a living and help the kids in this part of Allahabad. Sometimes it’s tiring, but seeing the students pass their exams makes it feel like it's worth the effort.
