Empower Academy

We opened Empower Academy over in Jhunsi, right near the Pal Chauraha in Allahabad. It’s a straightforward place meant for students who need a little extra help with their studies. We aren't some big corporate chain from a different city. We live right here in the 211019 area ourselves. The academy is basically just a few rooms we’ve set up with enough chairs and tables for the local kids. It’s located near the crossing, so it’s easy for most people to walk or cycle here. We don't have any flashy lights or big signs. Just a small board outside so you know you're in the right spot. Inside, it’s mostly quiet, except when we’re all talking through a tough problem. Sometimes the electricity goes out, which is common here, but we just open the windows and keep moving. We don't use any complicated teaching methods or expensive software. It’s just us, the students, and their textbooks. We try to make sure every kid understands what they are reading before they go home. A lot of the parents around here are our friends or neighbors, so there’s a lot of trust. We don't make big promises about results; we just put in the time every single day. It’s a modest setup, but it serves the purpose for the families around Pal Chauraha. We are just happy to be a part of the neighborhood and help where we can.
