Dr. A. H. Rizvi Degree College

This college is located in Karari Konch which is a quiet part of Uttar Pradesh. We have students coming in from the nearby villages and the town itself to get their degrees. It’s a bit of a trek for some of them who have to take buses or walk quite a distance to reach the campus. The building is solid and has plenty of rooms for lectures but it’s definitely seen a lot of years and could use some work. We don’t have much in the way of fancy tech or modern furniture but we have the basics like desks and blackboards that do the job just fine. Most days start early here because the sun gets quite strong in the afternoon and everyone wants to get their classes finished. You’ll see students hanging around under the trees in between their periods talking about their exams or just catching up on life. We mostly deal with young adults who are trying to figure out what to do next with their lives. It’s a practical place without any extra fluff or corporate feel. My job involves keeping the records straight and making sure the building stays in decent shape despite the wear and tear. It’s just a local college trying to help people get through their studies so they can go out and find some work in the city or stay back and help their families here in Karari.
