Worthyhope Foundation

Worthyhope Foundation is located in the village of Bisrampurhathia. We are set up at Vinay Kumar Chaubey’s place. This is part of the Jogapatti block, way out where things are quiet and green. It is a very rural spot with the pincode 845452. We don't have a fancy signboard or a dedicated building with a lobby. It is just a room in a village house where we keep our papers and meet with the locals. Life here depends a lot on the seasons and the crops. We try to fit our work around the lives of the people here. It is a very small operation. Sometimes it is just one or two of us doing everything from cleaning to writing letters. We don't have any big donors or anything like that. We just use what we have to help out our neighbors in Bisrampurhathia. The road to get here can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, but we are used to it. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing us personally. It is an honest way to work, we think. We spend a lot of time outside talking to people instead of sitting behind a desk. If you need us, you just head into the village and ask for Vinay’s house. Everyone knows where it is. We are just trying to keep hope alive in our small corner.
