Agrasen Jankalyan Sansthan

Agrasen Jankalyan Sansthan is located right across from the Birla Mandir in Sabzibagh, Patna. We share a bit of space near Lexicon Computer. If you know that part of Patna, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. We’ve been working out of this spot for years, focusing on welfare work for the people around Sabzibagh. It’s not a very big office, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the people coming in, but we like the energy. Our focus is just on helping the local community with whatever they need. It could be health-related, or maybe helping someone find a job. We don’t have a massive budget or a board of directors in suits. We’re just a group of people who wanted to do something good for our neighborhood. Being near the Birla Mandir makes us very easy to find, which is good because we get a lot of walk-ins. We try to keep things simple. If there’s a problem, we look for a solution. There’s no point in overcomplicating things with too many rules. We just want to see our local area do a bit better each year. It’s a lot of talking to people and trying to connect them with the right resources. It’s humble work, but it keeps us connected to the heart of the city. We don't do this for the money, but for the community that we have been part of for so many generations here.
