We are located in Basopatti, which is in the Madhubani district. Our place is really easy to find because it is right near the bus stop. Being close to the bus stop means there is always a lot of movement and noise, but it makes it easy for people from other villages to reach us. Adarsh Mithilanchal Development Forum is just a small group of us trying to do something for the area. We don't have a lot of money for fancy furniture or office upgrades. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the roof doesn't leak, so we are doing okay. Madhubani is famous for many things, but here in Basopatti, life is just about the daily grind. We sit in the office and listen to the buses coming and going. Sometimes people stop by just because they are waiting for their ride and saw our sign. We talk to them and hear about what's going on in their parts of the district. It’s a good way to stay informed. We don't have a big marketing plan or a website that gets updated every day. We just focus on the people who walk through the door. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers scattered around, but we know where everything is. We just keep moving forward, trying to be useful in our own small way without any big talk or bragging.
