Archie Samajik Sanstha

Archie Samajik Sanstha is based out of an apartment in the East Patelnagar area. We are in Flat 202, which is part of the C block inside the Sri Ram Parishar building. It’s located on Road Number 11, if you are trying to find the place on a map. Being inside an apartment complex makes our work feel a bit more personal and less like we are sitting in a cold, empty office building. We have neighbors living all around us, so we try to keep things quiet and just go about our daily business without bothering anyone. The space feels a bit cramped sometimes when everyone shows up at the same time, but we always make it work somehow. We have a few simple tables set up for our work and a small corner where we can sit and talk. Patelnagar is a decent, mostly residential neighborhood, which really suits the kind of work we do. We are not a big institution with a billboard or a neon sign outside. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or by just bumping into us in the hallway or the parking area. We handle various social tasks from this flat. It involves a lot of phone calls and sitting around a table drinking tea while we plan. The lift in the building is often a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs. It keeps us moving.
