Anand Laxmi Viklang And Bal Vikash Sewa Sansthan is situated in a village called Bedaulia. It is under the Jandaha police station area in the Vaishali district of Bihar. Our address is simply At+Po-Bedaulia, which tells you how rural we are. The office is really just a functional space where we manage our programs for disabled individuals and local children. Being in a place like Vaishali, we deal with a lot of basic challenges every day, like bad roads or patchy electricity. We don't have a fancy board of directors or a polished office in the city. Our staff is mostly made up of people from the village who understand what the families here are going through. We use a lot of handwritten notes because it is easier than trying to get the computer to work when the power is out. The building is a sturdy brick structure, nothing special to look at, but it stays cool in the Bihar summers. We spend a lot of time visiting homes in the surrounding countryside because many of the people we help can't easily travel to us. It is a lot of walking and talking under the sun. We just do the work that is right in front of us without making a big fuss about it. It is honest, local work for our own people in the Bedaulia area.
