Vivekananda Youth Connect Foundation

Vivekananda Youth Connect Foundation operates out of North S.K. Puri in Patna. We are tucked away in Munna Singh Lane, which is just off the main Boring Road. Pankaj Kumar looks after the place here. Boring Road is always crowded, but once you turn into our lane, it gets a lot quieter. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It’s a decent area, though parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some chairs, a couple of computers, and whoever happens to be volunteering that day. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. We just tell people where we are and what we are doing. The 800013 area is a good place to be because so many young people are around for coaching and classes. We see a lot of students walking by every day. We try to keep our doors open for whoever wants to stop in. It’s not a formal environment. Sometimes we’re just sitting around a table drinking chai and planning the next week. We are just regular people from Patna who wanted to do something useful. If you are looking for us, just find Munna Singh Lane and look for the house. It’s nothing fancy, but we are here and we are working. That’s the main thing for us. We just keep it simple and keep going.
