Vishwa Bandhutva Foundation

Vishwa Bandhutva Foundation is based out in the village area of Hisua, specifically Tola Badhi Bigha. It is a quiet place for the most part, though the mornings can get a bit loud when everyone is heading out to the fields. We’ve been operating from here because it’s where we belong. The panchayat of Hisua is where we spend our time. It’s not like those big city setups you see on TV with glass walls and uniforms. We have a small room where we keep our records and meet people who need a hand. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just life in the village. We don't have a lot of staff, mostly just a few of us who grew up around here and know the land. We know the roads and the families. It’s better that way. When someone needs something, they don't have to fill out twenty forms, they just come and find us. We might be drinking tea or sorting through old papers. It’s a slow process sometimes, building something from the ground up in a place like Badhi Bigha. We don’t mind the pace. It gives us time to actually listen to what’s going on around the village. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just trying to keep things moving forward in our own little corner. It’s practical, honest work and we plan to stay right here for a long time. We've got a leaky tap we need to fix, too.
