Veeshya Kaushalfoundation

Our place, Veeshya Kaushalfoundation, is on the first floor at Ram Chowk. This is right in the middle of Sadar Madhubani. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out at the market. Being on the first floor is nice because we can look down at the street and see everything happening at the chowk. The stairs are a bit steep, so you have to be careful coming up. We have a few rooms here in Ward No 1. It’s a typical office space in Bihar, nothing special about the walls or the floor. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who come in. Madhubani is famous for its art, but we are just focused on our daily tasks here. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic down below, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We have some basic desks and a couple of computers that work most of the time. The 847212 postcode is what we use for all our letters. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't really have a big staff, just enough people to keep the lights on and the work going. It’s not a shiny place, but it works for what we need to do. We usually wrap up before it gets too late. Being part of the local scene here is just how we operate.
