Taradevi Foundation

Taradevi Foundation is tucked away in Raushanlal Gali in Anishabad. It is right near Ballamichak. Avinash Kumar is the one you will usually see if you stop by the place. This part of Patna is pretty crowded, and the lanes can be a bit narrow, so you have to know where you are going. Our office is just a small space in the middle of all that activity. It is a very local vibe. We know the people living in the houses next door and the kids playing in the street. We started this because we wanted to do something for the people right here. There is no big corporate board or anything like that. It is just Avinash and a couple of others. We handle local issues, mostly stuff that people bring to us because they do not know where else to go. Anishabad is a busy place, so there is never a dull moment. The office is simple, with some plastic chairs and a lot of files. We do not spend money on fancy decorations. We would rather just be there when someone knocks on the door. Sometimes we are out in the street more than we are in the office. It is just how it works here. We are just a small foundation trying to make things a little easier for the folks in Raushanlal Gali and the surrounding areas. It is not much, but it is our work.
