We are over in Khair Bigha, near Mahesh Chowk in the Arwal area of Patna. Kunti Devi is the one who keeps everything running at our place. We are right by the Shiv Mandir, so we can always hear the bells and the people going to pray. It’s a very busy little spot. Our office is at Plot 666, but don't let the big number fool you. It’s just a simple room with a couple of tables. We deal with federation work, which mostly means we talk to a lot of different groups and try to get everyone on the same page. We aren't big city experts. We are just people from the locality who wanted to help organize things. The road outside is always busy with cycles and carts. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other talk over the noise, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any fancy technology or a big staff. It's just a few of us and some paper files. We spend our mornings checking in on everyone and our afternoons doing the paperwork. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want to be helpful to the people who live around Mahesh Chowk. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We like being right in the middle of everything where people can find us easily.
