Sri Hanumat Ashthan Sewa Foundation

You can find us in Babhana village, right in the Jehanabad district. We are set up near the Sri Hanumat Ashthan, which is a place many people know around here. Being so close to the temple gives our work a bit of a calm feeling. We are not a large organization with hundreds of people. It is just a few of us who wanted to do something for our own village. The office is really just a small room with a desk and some plastic chairs. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small board so people know they are in the right place. Jehanabad can get very hot in the summer, so we usually start our work very early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We don't have fancy computers or high-speed internet. Most of what we do involves talking to people face to face. We help out with whatever is needed at the time, whether it’s some paperwork or just giving some direction. We don't have a formal mission statement or anything like that. We just live here and we want things to be a bit better for everyone in Babhana. Sometimes the goats from the neighbor's yard wander onto our porch, and we just shoo them away. It's a very normal, local life for us. We just try to be honest and do our bit for the post and the people.
