Simran Stray Foundation

We are located at the White Kothi, which is a pretty well-known spot near Dr. D.Y. Patil School. It’s in the Chankya Bihar Colony area of Jaganpura. If you know the school, you can basically find us without any trouble. The Simran Stray Foundation started because we saw a need right here in our own neighborhood. We aren't some big international group with millions of dollars. It’s just a few of us working out of this house. The White Kothi has plenty of space for what we need to do. Jaganpura is growing fast, and there’s always something going on around the colony. Sometimes it gets a little loud with the school nearby, but we don't mind much. It’s better than being stuck in a dark office in the middle of the city. We spend a lot of our time just checking on things around the streets. People know us as the folks from the Kothi who care about the local animals. It’s not always easy work, and some days are definitely harder than others. We don't have fancy uniforms or a fleet of trucks. It’s mostly just us using our own time to get things done. If you're walking by, you might see us out front. It’s a practical way to live and work. We just take things one day at a time here and hope for the best.
