Shri Bidhan Chand Rai Foundation

Shri Bidhan Chand Rai Foundation started because we wanted to do something useful right from our home area here in Beur. We are located in Mahavir Nagar Colony, which is a busy little place near Anishabad. Kavita Roy is the one who keeps everything organized, and she lives here with Bidhan Chand Ray. It is a family house, so it doesn’t feel like a cold office at all. You will hear the sounds of the neighborhood, kids playing outside, and the usual traffic from the main road nearby. We set up some desks and a few files in one of the rooms. People from the colony drop by quite often just to chat or see what is happening. It is a very local thing we have going on. We don’t use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, it is just a couple of us sitting around a table with some snacks. Being in Anishabad means we are close to the heart of things, but Mahavir Nagar is still a bit tucked away from the noise. We like that balance. It is honest work we are doing, mostly just helping out where we can. If you ever find yourself in this part of town, you can find us easily enough. We aren't doing anything flashy, just keeping busy and trying to be good neighbors to everyone around us here. It is just a small group of us making things work day by day.
