Safarnama Foundation

Safarnama Foundation is located over in Balidad village. We operate out of the home of Akhileshwar Prasad Singh. It is part of the Balidad panchayat in the Kaler block. We aren't some big organization from the city. We are just a local foundation working right where we live. Most of the time, you can find us sitting together and figuring out the day's tasks. It’s a very rural spot, so things move a bit slower than they do in Patna. We don't have a polished front desk or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us in the front room or out in the yard. We handle everything ourselves, from the filing to the actual field work. It’s practical and it keeps us busy. Kaler is a quiet block for the most part, and we like it that way. We don't do any promotional stuff because everyone in the village already knows who we are and what we do. We just try to be helpful and stay organized. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to stop for a bit, but that’s just life here. We aren't trying to change the world overnight. We just do our bit for Balidad and the people around us. It’s honest work and it feels good to be based right in the heart of the village.
