Rurally Smile Foundation

Rurally Smile Foundation is based out of Umesh Kumar Pandey’s place in Ratanpura. We are in the Panch Pokhra area of Siwan. It’s a quiet part of Bihar 841506. We aren't a fancy NGO with a lot of staff or a big building. It’s just a few of us here doing the work. We started this because we wanted to see more people in the rural areas smiling, which is where the name came from. But we don't spend our time on marketing or big promotions. We just focus on the small things that actually help out in the village. Our office is simple and sometimes it feels a bit disorganized with all the papers, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time out and about in Siwan talking to our neighbors and friends. The roads aren't always great, and sometimes things take much longer than we expect because of local delays. We don't have a corporate office or a big logo painted on the door. It’s just a home-based setup where we do our best with what we have. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy reports. We just want to be useful to the people around us. If you’re ever in Panch Pokhra, you might see us walking around. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay. It’s a slow and steady kind of work. We aren't changing the world overnight, but we try to do our part here.
