Raja Bhaiya Foundation

Raja Bhaiya Foundation is based out of Vil-Afajalpur. We are located at Jagat Lal Prasad Singh’s house. It’s a quiet village in the Misraulia Afajalpur area. To get here, you have to find your way to P.O-Chakmaruf. It’s the kind of place where people still sit under the trees to talk. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning and fancy lights. We just have a room at Jagat Lal’s place. It’s very local and very simple. We know everyone in Afajalpur and they know us. Most of our work is just talking to the people and seeing what we can do to help out in the panchayat. We are just locals who wanted to do something for our own village. We don't have a mission statement written on the wall or anything. We just have neighbors who need things. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty, and the roads aren't always the best, but we manage. We’ve been here for a while now, and we aren't planning on going anywhere else. It’s a small foundation, run by real people who live in the same houses as everyone else. We don’t try to sound important. We just focus on the daily tasks. If someone has a problem, they just walk over to the house and we chat about it for a while. That is how things get done around here in Misraulia Afajalpur. We just take it day by day and see what comes next.
