R K Roy Foundation

We are over at Gauri Shankar Apartment, right in Phase-1. Our little spot is Flat No G-2. It is a bit of a quiet corner near Sadakat Ashram in the Kurji area. R K Roy Foundation isn't some big corporate thing. We are just here in the flat, working on things day by day. Living and working in an apartment building means you know all your neighbors. Sometimes the hallway is noisy with people coming and going, but that is just part of it. We have some shelves with papers and a couple of computers, but mostly it is just a place to talk and plan. Kurji is a busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside our windows. But once you step into G-2, it feels a bit more relaxed. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock, one of us will just open the door and invite you in. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who come by. It is a simple setup. We like being near the Ashram because it is a well-known landmark and makes it easy to tell people where to go. We have been in this apartment for a while now and it feels like the right place for us. No fancy signs out front, just the name on the door and some people inside working. It is a practical way to run things without spending too much.
