Purvottar Jan Kalyan Association

We are based in a small village called Chanaur Tola. It’s under the Saur Bazar block. If you are looking for us, we are over at Dukha Sah’s place. It’s a very rural area, quite far from the big city lights. Purvottar Jan Kalyan Association is really just about the people living here in the village. We don't have a formal office with glass doors or fancy signs. It’s just a regular house where we gather to talk. Everyone in the Tola knows where it is. We talk about local things, things that affect the farmers and the families in Samda. It is a very humble setup. We don’t have a lot of resources, but we have plenty of time for our neighbors. Life in Saur Bazar can be tough sometimes, especially when the weather is not good for the crops. We try to stand by each other during those hard times. We aren't trying to be some big, important organization. We are just a group of people who care about our village. You will often find us sitting on the porch or in the yard discussing what needs to be fixed or who needs a hand with something. It’s very informal. We use simple language and just do what we can. Being at Dukha Sah’s house makes us accessible to everyone nearby. We are just part of the landscape here. No big promises, just real work with the people we have known all our lives in this area.
