Patliputra Educational Foundation

The foundation is based in Danapur, over at Mubarakpur. We are located at the house of Shri Bhadai Rai. Danapur is a busy place but Mubarakpur feels a bit more like a neighborhood where people actually look out for each other. Our setup is pretty basic because we spend most of our money on the actual work rather than on fancy furniture or decorations. You will usually find a couple of us sitting around a wooden table going over papers or talking to students and parents from the area. The house is a well-known landmark in this part of Danapur. We deal with a lot of local stuff every day. Some days are really busy with people coming in and out, and other days it is just us drinking tea and planning for the next month. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't believe in formal meetings or long reports. We just talk and get things finished. Being in Mubarakpur helps us stay connected to what's actually happening on the streets. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just a group of people who care about education trying to make things work from a small office in a family home. If you walk down the main road and ask for Bhadai Rai’s place, you’ll find us easily. We are just regular folks doing our bit each day. It works for us.
