Pagykhha Foundation

Our foundation is called Pagykhha Foundation and we are located at 57 Gandhi Nagar in S. K. Puri. It is a residential area, so we are surrounded by our neighbors' houses. We did not want to go to a big commercial building because we like being part of the community. The house number is 57, and you can usually see someone sitting near the gate. We are just a small group of friends and family who wanted to do something useful for the city. The name Pagykhha is a bit unusual, we know, but it means something special to us. We do not have a specific mission that we print on posters. We just look around and see what needs doing. Maybe it is helping a neighbor with a legal problem or organizing a small clean-up drive in Gandhi Nagar. Our office is just a living room with some extra chairs and a computer that is a bit slow. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and talking about how to get things done. It is not a very formal environment. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog comes in while we are having a meeting. We think that being real and local is more important than being polished. We are just regular people from S. K. Puri trying to make our neighborhood a little bit better for everyone who lives here. We just take it day by day.
