Niswartha Seva Foundation

Our group, Niswartha Seva Foundation, operates out of Adarsha Colony in Akola. If you know the area, you probably know where Vaibhav Wankhade stays. That is where we do most of our work. The address is a bit long with all those numbers like 8000031 and 2459486, but it is just a regular house where we meet up. Akola is a place where people really need to stick together, especially when the weather gets tough. We named it Niswartha because we wanted to focus on serving others without looking for anything in return. It is not always easy to keep things running. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks in the colony about what they need. Sometimes it is help with a school bill or maybe just getting some clean water to a family that is struggling. We do not have a big budget or any corporate sponsors. Most of the money comes from our own pockets or small bits from friends. The office space is just a couple of chairs and a table. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people show up at once. We are not trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of Akola. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to file a form on time, but our hearts are in the right place and we just keep trying our best every day with whatever we have.
