New Generation Livelihood Foundation

The New Generation Livelihood Foundation is based in the village of Tarwan Mangaralpal, located in the Dariyapur area of Saran. We work out of the home of Surendra Mahto. It’s a simple setup, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We started this foundation because we wanted to help people in our village find better ways to make a living. In a place like Saran, things can be tough, and having a bit of extra support can go a long way. We aren't experts from some big city. We're just local folks who have lived here all our lives and want to see our neighbors do well. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their work and seeing if there are ways we can help them improve things. It might be helping someone learn a new skill or just giving them a hand with their existing business. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just a few of us coordinating things from the house. We don’t use any fancy language or make big claims. We just focus on the practical side of things. It’s slow work and it requires a lot of patience, but we’re okay with that. We’ve seen small changes over time and that’s what keeps us going. It’s about helping the community right here in Tarwan Mangaralpal one step at a time.
