Munger Welfare Foundation

We set up the Munger Welfare Foundation a while back. You can find us over at Yuvraj Apartment, specifically flat 101 in Telegraph Colony. It's in the New Capital area. It's not a big fancy office or anything, just a regular place where we get together to figure out how to help out around here. Most of us grew up seeing things that needed fixing, so we decided to actually do something instead of just talking about it. We spend a lot of our time dealing with whatever comes up in the community. Sometimes it’s small stuff, other times it’s a bit more work. Since we're right here in the neighborhood, people usually just drop by if they have something to say or need a hand with a project. It’s pretty informal. We don't have a big board of directors or anything like that, just a handful of folks who care about Munger and the people living here. We try to keep things simple. If there's a problem, we look at it and see if we can help. Being in Telegraph Colony makes it easy for us to stay connected with what’s happening on the ground. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. It takes a lot of time and sometimes it’s frustrating, but we stay at it because this is our home. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we just take things one day at a time.
