Mokama Manav Kalyan Foundation

Our office for the Mokama Manav Kalyan Foundation is on the Madhuwan Main Road in the Tatawa Toli area of Mokama. Specifically, we are at Sri Virendra Pratap Raju’s place in Ward Number 8. This is in the Patna district, 803302. Being on the main road means there is always something going on outside our window. It is a lively part of town, with people moving back and forth all day long. We have a small space here where we manage all the activities of the foundation. It is not a polished corporate environment. The walls have a few marks, and the furniture has seen some use, but it is comfortable for us. We spend our days answering calls, sorting through documents, and talking to people who come in from the neighborhood. Ward 8 is a good place to be because we are right in the thick of things. We don't put on any acts or try to seem bigger than we are. We are just a local group doing our part from this address. Sometimes we have tea together while we plan out the week. It is a very grounded way to work. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the families who live down the street. It feels like we are part of a real community here on Madhuwan Main Road, and that makes the work feel more meaningful. We just do our best with what we have and keep our office open for everyone.
