Matayam Foundation

The Matayam Foundation is based out of Village Pandaul, specifically in the Pandaul Tola area. We are located at the house of Ram Bali Rai in Pandaul West. It is a small place, very local, and deeply rooted in this specific part of the village. If you live around here, you know the way the roads wind through the Tola. We have been working from this spot for a while now. It is a modest setup, just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet up to discuss what needs to be finished. The environment is very rural, which we like because it keeps us connected to the ground. There isn't any big city noise here, just the sounds of the village and the occasional tractor passing by. We don't go for anything complicated. Our desks are old, and the fans might creak a bit when it gets hot, but it works for us. Ram Bali Rai’s place has become a sort of hub for our small team. We start early in the morning before it gets too warm and we try to get through the list of things we have to do. We don't have a lot of people working here, just a handful of us who care about getting the job done. It is a quiet life in Pandaul, and we are happy to be a part of it. We keep our doors open for the locals and do our bit every single day without fail. It is a simple life and a practical way to manage things.
