Margdarshan Health Foundation

Our setup is right in the middle of Anand Bazar in Danapur. It is a very crowded place, as anyone who lives in Patna knows. Ram Lakhan Prasad Gupta is the person in charge here. Margdarshan Health Foundation is what we call ourselves. We aren't a big hospital or anything like that. We are more of a local spot where people come when they have health questions or need a bit of guidance. Being in a busy bazaar means we see all sorts of people every day. It is noisy and there is always something going on outside our door. We focus on the basics of health for the people living in Danapur 801503. A lot of folks here don't have time to travel far for advice, so they just stop by while they are doing their shopping. We keep it very casual. There is no waiting room with magazines, just a few benches. We talk to people in plain language they can understand. We don't use big medical words if we can help it. Ram Lakhan has lived here a long time and knows most of the families. That trust is important to us. We just try to make sure our neighbors are taking care of themselves. It is practical work and it keeps us very busy from morning until the market closes. It's just about helping out in the bazaar.
