Lt Memorial Foundation

We are at 375A Bhikhna Pahari, which is in the Bankipur area. It’s also part of Pirbohor Naya Tola. Lt Memorial Foundation is what we are called. This part of town is very old and the streets can be quite narrow and crowded. There’s always a lot of people moving around, especially near the shops. Our building is 375A and it’s a bit old-fashioned. We have been here for a long time. It can be hard to find a place to park if you’re driving, so most people just walk or take a rickshaw. The office inside is simple. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have been around for years. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us much. We are used to the noise of the street coming through the windows. It’s a lively neighborhood. We get our mail at the Bankipur post office or sometimes it comes straight to Naya Tola. There is a lot of history in these streets. We just do our daily routine, sorting through things and talking to anyone who comes in. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s where we belong. We know the local vendors and the people who live nearby. It’s a busy, cramped, but friendly place to spend the day. We just keep doing what we do. Sometimes we close up early if it’s a holiday, but otherwise, we are usually here from morning until the evening hours.
