If you look for Krishang Foundation, you will find us at Shiv Laxmi Apartment, Flat 506, in Kankarbagh. This is a busy part of Patna, and the apartment building is quite well known. We started this foundation right from home. It didn't feel necessary to get a separate office when we could just use the space we already had. Kankarbagh is always moving, with cars and people everywhere, so we are right in the middle of the action. We don't do anything very complicated. Most of the time, we are just talking to people from the neighborhood or helping out with small community tasks. It’s not like those big NGOs you see on the news. We are just a small group trying to be helpful. Sometimes we help with local events or just give advice to people who stop by the apartment. Living and working in the same place makes it easy for people to reach us without much trouble. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing who we are and what we stand for. It’s a very simple way of doing things. We keep our paperwork in order, but we don't let it get in the way of talking to people.
