Kashi Sons Foundation

Kashi Sons Foundation is located inside Kashi Smriti Sadan on Gokul Path. Our room is number twelve, and we are situated in the Patel Nagar area of Phulwari in Patna. The building has a lot of history to it, and you can feel that when you walk through the hallways. It is a solid structure, though some of the tiles in the corridor are cracked. We are in Bihar, so the 800023 pin code area gets pretty lively during the daytime hours. Our office is a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it is quiet once you get inside. We have some old photos on the walls and a heavy wooden desk that takes up most of the space. There is a small balcony where we keep some potted plants that struggle a bit in the summer heat. Most of the people who work here have lived in Patna their whole lives, so we know the city well. We spend our mornings catching up on mail and the afternoons meeting with people who come by to talk. The tea shop down the road delivers cups to us on a little wire rack, which is the highlight of the afternoon. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place where we just focus on the tasks at hand without any bells or whistles.
