Jivan Seva Samiti Foundation

Jivan Seva Samiti Foundation is located right here in Sampatchak, Patna. We operate out of Allabakaspur, Sakrigali, specifically at the home of Rama Shankar Prasad. It’s a busy area in Bihar, and people know where to find us. We started this small foundation because there seemed to be a lot of things that needed doing in the neighborhood. Our address is 800007, and if you walk down the lane, you’ll see the house. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit down and figure out how to help with the local needs. Some days are quiet, and other days it feels like everyone is stopping by to ask about something. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the people around Sakrigali are used to seeing us. Being in Patna, specifically in this part of town, means we deal with things as they come. It might be hot outside, or the streets might be crowded, but the door is usually open. We don't have a big corporate staff. It’s just a few of us trying to make sense of the work that needs to be done every day. Rama Shankar Prasad was kind enough to let us use this space. It works for what we need. We don't have a lot of big posters or ads. Mostly, it’s just word of mouth between the neighbors and folks passing through Bihar.
