Ishapur Life Changers Foundation

We are located over at Jaikishor Prasad Yadav’s place in Ward 07. It is in the Bagri area of Bihpur, right here in Bhagalpur. Most people in the village know where the house is, so it is easy to find. We started the Ishapur Life Changers Foundation because we saw a lot of things that could be worked on around here. It is not a big operation at all. We usually just sit in the front room and talk to the people who come by throughout the day. Bihar can be a tough place sometimes, especially with the weather and the farming cycles, so we try to be around when things get a bit complicated. We handle a bit of everything, from helping people with their paperwork to just giving some advice when they ask for it. This foundation isn't something you would see in a big city. It is just us, deeply rooted in our local community. We know the neighbors and we know all the families living in Ward 07. Usually, the day starts quite early and we don't finish until the sun goes down. There isn't any fancy equipment in the office, just a table, some old chairs, and a lot of patience. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. Being in Bhagalpur, we have many local ties that go back years. Everyone knows Jaikishor and the work being done at his house. It is just a group of us.
