Intruct Care Foundation

We are the Intruct Care Foundation, operating out of the Sadakat Ashram area in Kurjee. You’ll find us at Raju Singh’s place, he’s the son of Ram Lakhan Singh. It’s a well-known part of town, so we get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got a few tables and some old chairs that have seen better days. It’s a comfortable enough spot to sit and talk. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us just looks up from whatever we’re doing when someone walks in. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the week. Sometimes it’s just giving advice, other times it’s more involved work. Being near the Ashram gives the place a certain feel. It’s busy but also grounded. We try to keep our operations as simple as possible. No need to make things harder than they already are. We’ve lived in this community for a long time, so we know the people and the problems they face. We aren’t looking for awards or recognition. We just want to be a place where people can come when they need a bit of help or some information. It’s a quiet sort of life here at the foundation, and that’s exactly how we like it. The door squeaks a bit when you open it and we haven't gotten around to oiling it yet. We just focus on what's important.
