Humanaro Foundation

Humanaro Foundation is located at House Number 58 in Ward Number 63. We are in the Chandra Maharaj Ka Garh area, right near Noon Ka Chauraha in Patna. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city, which is why we chose to stay here. We are just a small group of regular people who wanted to do something for our neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy office with a receptionist. It’s just a room where we sit and work on whatever comes our way. Sometimes it’s helping a family with a local dispute, and other times it’s about trying to get some basic services improved on our street. We don't use any corporate buzzwords or talk about big visions. We just look at what’s happening at the Chauraha and try to be helpful. Our sentences are a bit short and our English isn't perfect, but we get the job done. People in the ward know us well because we’ve lived here our whole lives. We don't have a lot of money, so we focus on being practical and using our time to help others. It’s honest, everyday work. No one is trying to get famous here. We just want to see our part of Patna do a little better. If you’re ever near the garh, you can just stop by and see what we’re up to. We usually have someone there during the day to listen to whatever you have to say.
