Engineer Live Foundation

Our small group is based out of Nehru Nagar in the Patliputra area of Patna. We are located at Sri Kumar Vimal’s place. It’s a nice enough spot in a part of the city that has a lot of history. Patliputra is always moving, but our little corner in Nehru Nagar stays relatively calm. The office is really just a couple of rooms where we keep our equipment and papers. It’s not a polished corporate space at all. Sometimes there are boxes stacked in the corner and the chairs don’t all match, but it works for us. We spend a lot of our time chatting with people from the neighborhood or planning out our next steps. We’ve been here for a while now, so we’ve gotten used to the rhythms of the street. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a desk or talking on the phone. We don’t really do the whole professional suit-and-tie thing. It’s more casual than that. We just want to get things done without a lot of overhead. Being in Patna means there’s always something going on nearby, but we mostly just focus on our own tasks. It’s a practical setup for a group like ours. We just take it one day at a time here, making sure the files are in order and the doors are open for whoever needs us.
