Daisy Social Welfare Foundation

Daisy Social Welfare Foundation is based in Village Fagunipar, which is near Madanpur. We are in the Ekangersarai area of Nalanda. It’s a place with a lot of history, but our daily life is pretty ordinary. We have a small office in Badrabad where we handle all our foundation’s work. It’s not a big fancy setup with glass walls or anything. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of papers. Most of our time is spent out in the village talking to people. We don't like sitting behind a computer all day if we can avoid it. Our team is just a handful of local people who wanted to do something for the neighborhood. We know the families around here and they know us. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours, so we just work by the window or outside. We aren't a huge organization with a lot of funding. We just manage with what we have and try to be honest about it. It’s a slow process getting things changed in rural Bihar, but we are patient. We don't use a lot of big corporate talk.
