Chainpuri Foundation

Our foundation is situated in the village of Chainpururff Parri, which is located in the Dharharwa area of Aurai block. Arun Shankar Chainpuri is the one who really got this whole thing started. We are right in the heart of the village, so we’re never far from the people we’re trying to help. Aurai is a rural spot, and things can be a bit slow out here sometimes. We don't have a big flashy office or a team of professional managers. It’s mostly just us and a few volunteers from the village. We focus on the everyday problems that people in Dharharwa face. Sometimes that means helping out with a local project, and other times it’s just being a point of contact for people who need advice. We know every corner of this village, and we know the families who live here. That makes it easier for us to see what needs to be done. We don’t follow some big corporate plan. We just take things as they come and try to be useful. If you come looking for us, just ask for Arun Shankar’s place; most people can point you in the right direction. It’s a quiet life, but the work we do here feels important because it’s for our own neighbors. We’re just regular folks trying to make our village a slightly better place to live for everyone. Often we sit outside in the evenings to discuss what we need to do next while the day cools down.
