Bub Foundation

We’re out here in Satrajepur, which is part of the Panchlakhanpur area in the Bhagwanpur block of Begusarai. If you head toward Ward 8, that’s where you’ll find our little setup. Begusarai is a place with a lot of energy, but out in the villages like ours, things move a bit slower. We started the Bub Foundation because we wanted to have a way to help our neighbors without having to wait for someone from the city to show up. It’s a very local thing. We use a small building in the village, and it’s nothing fancy at all. Usually, you’ll find a couple of us sitting there talking to whoever stops by. We deal with whatever comes up—sometimes it’s a family crisis, sometimes it’s just someone needing help with a form. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just us, the people from Ward 8 and the surrounding tolas. The roads out here can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, but we stay open regardless. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know the struggles people face with farming and work. We just try to be a reliable place where folks can come when they don’t know where else to turn. It’s not always easy, and we make mistakes like anyone else, but we’re doing our best for Satrajepur. It’s just about being there for each other in the village. It feels good to have a purpose right here at home.
