Basudeo Welfare Foundation

We are over here in Danapur at the house named after Late Smt Sunaina Devi. It’s a busy part of Patna, and there’s always something going on in the streets outside. Basudeo Welfare Foundation isn’t some big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us trying to help out where we can. Most days, we’re just talking to neighbors and seeing what needs doing. Some people need help with paperwork, others just need a bit of support getting by. We don't have a lot of rules about how we work. It’s more about just being there for the folks in the Danapur area. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the noise from the road, but we manage. My family has been here a long time, and that’s why we started this thing. It felt right to do something in her name. We don’t have a marketing team or someone to write fancy flyers for us. It’s just a few of us sitting around a wooden table, figuring out the next steps for the week. People stop by when they see the door open. We might be having tea or looking over some files, but we always make time to listen. It’s not about being the biggest group around, just about doing what’s possible right now. Danapur is a tough place sometimes, but the people here look out for each other, and we want to be a part of that.
