Balaji Manav Uthan Seva Sansthan Foundation

We are located in Bettiah, over in West Champaran, specifically at Railey Bazar on K.S Jha Road. The Balaji Manav Uthan Seva Sansthan Foundation is run out of Ashok Rao’s place. It is a busy area with the market right there. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long while we work. It is not a quiet office, that is for sure. We have stuff stacked in the corners and the desks are usually covered in notes. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather just do the work. The building is older, but it serves us well. People from all over the bazar know where we are. We get a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes it feels like we are always making more tea for guests than doing paperwork. But that is how life is here. We listen to what people say and try to figure things out. It is a small team, mostly just friends and family who care about Bettiah. We have been through some long summers and rainy seasons in this office. The roof leaked a bit last year, but we got it patched up. It is a real place with real problems, just like the people we see every day. We do not put on a show for anyone. If you come by, you see us as we are. Just people trying to keep things moving in the right direction without any fuss.
