Baigna Seva Foundation

Our foundation is located in Baigna village, which falls under the Sahara panchayat in Krityanand Nagar block. We operate from Harinandan Bhagat’s residence. This part of the country is very much about the land and the local villages. You will not find any skyscrapers here. Most of our days are spent dealing with local village matters. Harinandan is the one who keeps the doors open. We have a small room set aside for the foundation work, but often we just sit out on the porch if the weather is nice. It is a lot of talking and listening. We do not use much technology, maybe just a basic mobile phone to keep in touch with people in other parts of Krityanand Nagar. The roads to Baigna can be a bit rough, so we do not get many outsiders, which is fine with us. We are mostly focused on the people right here in the Sahara panchayat. It is an honest, plain way to live and work. We do not have fancy brochures or a PR person. If you want to know what we do, you just have to come by and ask. There is usually some chai going, and we are happy to sit and explain things without any big words. It is a quiet life in Baigna, and we are just trying to be a small part of making it better for everyone. That is how we spend our time.
