Akhari Koshish Foundation

Akhari Koshish Foundation is located in Barbigha, which is part of Sheikhpura. You can find us right at Jhandachowk. We are care of Subodh Kumar. Jhandachowk is a pretty well-known spot in this area, so we are not hard to find. It is a busy junction where people gather and buses go through. Our office is just a simple building right near the square. You won't see a high-tech facility with lots of glass and steel around here. It is just a plain room where we do our daily work for the foundation. Being at Jhandachowk means there is always a lot of noise and activity outside our windows. Desks, some old chairs, and plenty of papers are what you'll see inside. That is the reality of our work here. Subodh Kumar handles a lot of the day-to-day things. Instead of a lot of staff members, there is just a small group of us who know the town well. Most of us grew up around Barbigha or Sheikhpura. We wanted to keep the foundation close to home. It makes it easier to talk to the local folks. Big words or complicated language aren't really our style when people come in. We just keep it simple and honest. Our office might be small, but it is right in the heart of things here in Barbigha.
