Aapki Umeed Welfare Foundation

We are over here at Salempur in Barh, which is part of Patna 803213. This place is basically at Md. Shahid’s house, he is the son of Md Idaris. People around here know the spot well. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we get things done for the foundation. Living and working in Salempur means we see the same faces every day and we deal with whatever comes up in the neighborhood. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the dusty roads make things slow, but that is just how life is in this part of the state. We don't have a huge staff or anything, just a few of us trying to keep things moving along. Usually, someone is around if you drop by the address. It’s quiet mostly, except when the kids are out playing or there's a local market day nearby. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most of our work happens right here on the ground. We don't really do the big city corporate stuff. It’s more about being part of the community here in Barh. If you are looking for us, just ask for Shahid's place and someone will probably point you in the right direction. It's a simple setup. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who stop by to see what's happening. That’s about all there is to it.
